The new Western Australian Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022 has specific requirements for Electrical Supervisors at Schedule 26 for the investigation and reporting of electrical incidents.

PowerLogic has been specialising in this field for over 20 years and has trained thousands of electricians and electrical engineers in the art of electric shock and arc flash investigations.

We find that investigators not only need to know how to investigate an incident but must also have a good understanding of all the technical aspects of electricity including earthing and test instruments.

We offer a 3-day investigation course, 2 day electrical incident report writing course, 1-day investigation refresher or introduction course and a 2-hour electric shock investigation kit course.

Our online training centre provides a self-paced online option for the WA mining sector. Check out the video to see how easy our online training centre is to use. You can also do our free “Test RCD” course to trial our system.

Online trainees can ask questions via email or give us a ring. We also provide webinar, instructor led training or onsite training – we can come to you.

If you need training in this area to be compliant, want to up skill staff and/or get better long-term results from an investigation, then check out our website or don’t hesitate to contact us.
