Paying for or enrolling in a training course with PowerLogic means you accept these terms and conditions and that you are willing to receive our email newsletters.

Payment of Fees

All fees must be paid before commencing the course. Refunds will not be forthcoming under any circumstances.

Student Obligations

You must read and understand the course material including any additional information provided such as information sheets, articles or links to other material or websites.

You must not accept outside help with course assessments and assignments, but you can generally use our course notes. By undertaking this course, you warrant that you have completed all activities and assessments on your own and without the use of Artificial Intelligence and that you are the person completing the course.

Purchasing one online training course, allows that one person to access that training course only.

Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse participants for any reason, particularly if they do not have the underpinning knowledge or qualifications.

Assessment as “competent” or “non-competent” remains the sole decision of PowerLogic.

Trainees have two attempts at online assessments. Two additional attempts may be arranged by contacting us, but no further attempts will be allowed after this. Failing any assessment four times will result in failure of the course and a certificate will not be provided.

All paid courses must be completed within 12 months from the enrolment date.

Employers that have paid and organised training may be updated on trainee progress and sent course certificates where a trainee has successfully completed a training course.

Warranty and Liability

Materials used in this course are provided with no warranty or guarantee. You accept all liability for your actions by using any of the material provided or knowledge gained from our courses. PowerLogic shall not be liable for any lost profits, business interruption or for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages arising out of or relating to any of our training courses.

PowerLogic makes no warranties whatsoever, though we have used our best endeavours in providing the course material. PowerLogic training courses are sold “as is”.

Copyright

All materials for PowerLogic courses are copyrighted and all materials remain the intellectual property of PowerLogic. This includes, but not limited to, all documents, text, graphics, audio commentary, images, visual presentations and any course related files or materials. Material cannot be copied, reproduced or distributed in any form without prior written consent of PowerLogic.

All material provided and presented during training is for the sole use of the individual who has purchased the training and no-one else. Courses are not transferrable without permission of PowerLogic, particularly if the course has already been commenced.

Termination

Termination of your enrolment will be made by email if these terms and conditions are breached. Course fees will not be refunded in such circumstances.

Dispute Resolution

Together we will endeavour to resolve disputes in the first instance by discussions. If this fails, we will seek mediation from an external provider agreeable to both parties with costs shared equally.
